3 very important questions are answered in the following accounts, which will lead us to the answer to the question, “Who is Jesus?” Before we begin, some might say that the question should be,”Who WAS Jesus?” But once we discover the Truth and realize the answer to the question, we then will know that we have asked the right question. Please bear with me for a minute and you will see. MATTHEW 16:13-17 & 20 Now when Jesus came into the district of Caesarea Philippi, He was asking His disciples, “Who do PEOPLE say that the Son of Man is?” And they said, “Some say John the Baptist; and others, Elijah; but still others, Jeremiah, or one of the prophets.” He said to them, “But who do YOU say that I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” And Jesus said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Barjona, because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but My Father who is in heaven…Then He warned the disciples that they should tell no one that He was the Christ. There are so many answers to this question. Most cults and false religions say that He was a high ranking Angel, a Prophet, Michael the Arc Angel, a lesser god, a good Teacher, an ascended Master, or they don’t mention Him at all. I would venture to say that most average people would say that He is(or was) a good man, a religious leader, a good example, a historical figure, or a nice story that someone made up.
