Beit of Tahleia / House to Bloom
God’s Purpose Unlimited, our International Ministry Arm, has partnered with Beit of Tahleia/ House to Bloom to support orphans in Africa. Shereh Rush, the Founder and President of Beit of Tahleiah/House to Bloom has always had a heart for orphans and for Africa.
How it all got started
Recently while in Nigeria, Pastor George, Sister Sherah, and the rest of our dedicated team, provided tens of thousands of dollars in food, medical supplies, medicine, dental supplies, toys, and other provisions for 2 orphanages in Benin City, Nigeria, and at an IDP Camp(Internally Displaced Persons) Camp just outside Benin City, Nigeria. Currently we have been suporting the Children in the IDP Camp with not only finances for food at Christmas (see pictures), but we also recently sent a shipment of Christmas candy, writing materials & coloring books, clothing, blankets, shoes, beef jerky, and other much needed supplies (see pictures). A Word from Sherah
My name is Sherah Rush, I am a hope filled believer who deeply experienced the love and presence of God and asked Jesus Christ, to come into my life at a very young age. I have a love for children and women that have been abused. I was born into a Christian family. My father Leon Rush Sr. was a pastor and evangelist. My mother Wanda Rush was a worship leader. I love the Lord and His love and guidance has always been with me. My vision is simple, help restore hope to the hopeless children and women. Help build their confidence and show love to them in this dark and cruel society. So the vision is “LOVE” Mission Statement- Proverbs 31:8-9 “Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy.” Our desire is to provide God’s love through serving, guiding, loving and protecting the destitute. Building a home environment so all can BLOOM into fulfilling their destiny here on earth, spiritually and physically; a safe haven. 1 Corinthians 13:8 Love never fails…
Moving forward
We are so grateful to God for the honor, privilege, and blessing of being able to give and support the lives of these young orphans who have had their parents taken from them. These precious children are now are being cared for at the IDP Camp by Pastor Solomon Folorunsho and other friends at the International Center for Christian Missions (ICCM) www.iccfmissions.org Moving forward Beit of Tahleia/House to Bloom is partnering with friends in the Liberian Government to start new orphanages on donated land that will be used to create places where thousands of orphans can come to be loved and cared for, and find the love and truth of the Gospel. These places will provide not just the basic needs for food, shelter, and clothing, but education, sports, and eventually job training, to allow these children to be self- supporting and productive members of their community. God's Purpose Unlimited will not only help support and establish these places for children to grow and flourish, but we will be setting up programs to help these young people to find and fulfill "God's Greatest Purpose" for their lives. We will be working with them to discover their passions, abilities, and talents. Director of African Missions. Sherah Rush, the founder of Beit of Tahleia(House to Bloom) is our ministry partner in supporting and providing for orphans and needy children around the world. She is also the Director of African Missions here at God’s Purpose Unlimited. She is a long-time friend of our ministry who has a huge heart to serve.
