“GP” (Gospel MC) Pastor George has been used by God as an inspirational public speaker and singer for many years in a variety of settings and types of venues from church services and bible studies to business seminars, prison ministries, & juvenile halls and from youth rallies and outreaches to church block parties and concerts. We are available to host, perform, and minister at any church or ministry event.

How it all got started

One day, a brother from church invited me to go to prison ministry with him. I was still young in the faith and was not a very good speaker, but he asked me to come and just say a few words and share some of my testimony. While people from our group got up and spoke, the kids in the Juvenile Hall were not listening, not paying attention, and some were actually being disruptive. I had not been rapping long but I saw the opportunity to reach out to these young men with the Gospel in way that they would hear it and receive it. As I was called up to speak, I popped a cassette in the boom box and hit play. All I can tell you is this, those young men were so shocked and pleased to hear rap music they sat up, clapped along, waved their hands in the air, and as soon as they caught onto some of the Gospel lyrics and began singing along. At the end of the service, most of those seemingly uninterested youth were now praying a prayer of repentance and surrendering their lives to Jesus Christ. That was the beginning of over 20 years of prison ministry. During that time, I have been so blessed to see literally thousands of young men and women come to the Lord and make professions of faith in Christ. God never ceases to amaze me. He can do so much with so little.

Our Aim

1 CORINTHIANS: 9:19-22

19. For though I am free from all, I have made myself a servant to all, that I might win more of them. 20. To the Jews I became as a Jew, in order to win Jews. To those under the law I became as one under the law (though not being myself under the law) that I might win those under the law. 21. To those outside the law I became as one outside the law (not being outside the law of God but under the law of Christ) that I might win those outside the law. 22. To the weak I became weak, that I might win the weak. I have become all things to all people, that by all means I might save some. 23. I do it all for the sake of the gospel, that I may share with them in its blessings.

n other words, for those who like rap, we will share the Gospel through Rap. And for those who like Rock, we will share the Gospel through Rock, etc, etc. We don’t dilute or change the message of the Gospel, we just deliver it in as many ways as possible to reach as many people as possible. – Pastor George Williams
